Jaime Bouzaglo

Born in Alcazar, Spanish Morocco but raised in Barcelona, Spain, Bouzaglo showed natural talent for design even as a child. In 1973, at the age of 14, he was already working in his uncle's architectural firm. He studied with Jean-Francois Zevaco, the renowned French architect. He carried out several projects in different countries and turned towards commercial design layout and interior architecture while also teaching design. In 1988 he founded CREAR, a firm specialised in design that has clients the world over. He became the designer for the Cerruti 1881 stores in Paris, which were so successful that he went on to create 17 more in cities that include Kobe, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Madrid, Kuala Lumpur, Dusseldorf, London and Toronto. A great lover of design, Bouzaglo creates comprehensive commercial concepts; image, furniture, ambiance, reception, right down to the smallest objects defining a space.
