Inocuo The sign & LZF Lab
Inocuo The Sign is a communication studio based in Barcelona with a long professional trajectory in design and creation in all formats, from printing to cross-media, motion graphics, web or 3D animation, both at national and international level.
Together with the LZF Lab, the two firms created Koi. Part pendant, part sculpture, Koi is a dramatic and decorative light that appears as a surreal wood creature. It has an ethereal beauty: engendering a considerable sense of wonderment, its animated form captivates the eye. Cutting an imposing figure, it offers the perfect lighting climax.
Koi was inspired by an interlacing wood system and the translucent qualities this brings about when illuminated. The overlaying of wooden slats, similar to fish scales, is dubbed the Koi Fabric.
