Ora Ito became globally famous in the late 1990’s by designing revolutionary products for some of the most emblematic brands of our time like Vuitton, Apple, Nike and Bic. Thanks to numerous publications in the press, fiction turned into reality when customers tried to purchase these imaginary products and orders flooded Ora Ïto’s website. This work became the second digital work ever acquired by the National Funds of Contemporary Art (FNAC). In 2000, Ora Ito opened his own studio, embarking on the design of real products. His creations represent the codes of a new luxury; timeless and universal with Ito’s signature minimalist form.
