Born in Japan, Ichiro Iwasaki worked for Sony Design Centre from 1986 to 1991 in the design development of TV, car audio and more. In 1991 he moved to Italy and began design activities in Milan. In 1995 the Iwasaki Design Studio was established in Toyko. The Pix system of ottomans released at the Milan Fair 2010, is the first collaboration with that marries Arper’s style with the creativity of the Iwasaki Design Studio.
