Ona is a lineal coat rack made out of wood with a design that results from a formal juxtaposition of waves and a sloping plane. Its almost sculptural ornamental value and commercial success have given it a symbolic status in the history of Spanish design.
Internationally renowned, it has won the ADIFAD Delta Gold 1992 and the Gran Prix de la Critique du Meuble Contemporary 1999, and forms part of the Permanent Collection at Barcelona’s Design Museum as well as the Design Collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
