Aotea Centre, the flagship venue in the heart of Auckland CBD, has undergone its first major refurbishment in 30 years. The transformed spaces in the multi-level performing arts and convention centre include furniture from the best of UFL’s furniture collection.

The Aotea Centre, home to the Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre and the Herald Theatre, was renovated with flexibility in mind for several expansive foyer spaces.

The selection of furniture for this project is a combination of large modular sofas, lounge chairs, ottomans and bar learners and occasional tables. UFL supplied furniture from LaCidivina and Arper of Italy; Artifort from The Netherlands and Andreu World from Spain across all spaces within Aotea Centre.

Designed with flexible spaces in mind, UFL provided furniture for Aotea Centre’s expansive foyer areas and open spaces, cocktail spaces and areas for small gatherings. Working to a specific brief, UFL supplied products to complement the rich colour palette and textures, and organic groupings and shapes.
