Josep Torres Clavé
Josep Torres Clavé (1906–1939) was an architect, urban planner, designer, and pedagogue, and a founding member of GATPAC. A pioneer of rationalist architecture in Spain, he collaborated with Josep Lluís Sert and Joan Baptista Subirana on iconic projects such as the Dispensari General Antituberculós (1936). He also designed furniture, including the celebrated Torres Clavé armchair, still produced today.
