In this piece, the chubby upholstered seat is held aloft by a metallic cage support. Wine barrels inspired the original design, the staves of which are represented by the base’s vertical bars – a design accent that runs throughout the family’s armchair, sofa and lounge chair.
The seat is plane and contrast against the outer area’s quilting, which follows the lines of the staves. The metal support is available in two finishes: bronze or nacar.
