In one of many visits to her Indian collaborators, when observing a sample of wool fibres grouped by tones, Nani Marquina visualised the embryo of one of the firm's most emblematic designs, and, possibly, the design that she herself would choose if she had to choose which child she loved most: Cuadros Twenty colours forming a magic checkerboard of vibrant colours that create a rhythmic sensation of movement on this checked rug

This design, born from a seemingly accidental combination of shades, actually follows a very specific linear sequence
