In 2000 the first company in the Baltic States to create designer furniture was founded and its name was BFDF (Baltic Furniture Design Factory).
Cooperating with famous Scandinavian designers and experienced furniture manufacturers in Latvia, the first chair collections Twiggy and Blue Train came into the market. Every year a new design was added to the collection - a new design that was presented in Milan, Stockholm or Cologne.
BFDF has received several prizes and awards for the Flow, Python and Chat ranges and received prizes as Best Design Furniture in Latvia. In 2004 the chair Python won the competition 'The Best New Export Product of Latvia'.
BFDF has been listed as one of Latvia's fastest growing companies which could have been achieved only by satisfying its customers.
