A well developed instinct for curiosity and the longing to improve things are the keys to Vicente Soto's professional success. Constant work and being natural are the reflection of the vitality of this passionate creator. Self-taught, Soto began working as a draughtsman in an architectural studio where he started thinking about modifying the objects that surrounded him. This conception of design has led him to seek perfection in the balance between the aesthetic and the functional and this search has earned him recognition in the difficult world of design. With an ego which is quite indifferent to the degree of his success, Soto is now resident in Valencia and has been designing for Paco Capdell since 1989. His most recent deisgns include the polypropylene pieces Regata and Novecento.
