LZF -Lamps is a Spanish lighting company formed in 1994 as a collaboration between artist and designer Marivi Calvo and marketer, muso and raconteur Sandro Tothill, who realised the concept of creating environments and objects from the back illumination of wooden veneers. Through the utilisation of timber veneers, polypropelyne and paper parchment in varying textures, colours and translucence, LZF-Lamps invoke architectural forms through the use of light and shadow, design and structure. All veneers used in the LZF product are forested under environmentally sustainable guidelines.
