Teixido was born in 1947 in Barcelona, where he studied at the Applied Arts and Artistic Trades School between 1964 and 1969. He has worked with the Escola de Disseny i Art (EINA), and is a former member of the Board of ADI-FAD. His specialities are furniture and lighting, which he has marketed with firms such as Enea, Andreu World, Tagono, Grassoler, Akaba, Disform, Grupo T. and Arruti.
